Sorry for the extended downtime, I messed up when attempting to copy over the media. I should have just rsync'd it to begin with, rather than attempting to compress it first.

Anyways, everything looks to be working, but it may take a bit for DNS to be updated for everyone.

i've been running this instance since Jan/Feb 2022. @kinetix@lemmy.ca ran it before me for about 2 years I believe?

so far, it doesn't take up much of my time. i get very few reports to deal with, and upgrading/maintenance is quick and easy.

in the past few days, it's been mostly going through new user applications, but that's quick and easy too.

if we continue to grow, i will probably be looking for some help with administering this instance, as i'm guessing it will become too much for one person to handle.
