I use a lot of plugins, all downloadded/installed through Decky Loader, some are just aesthetic, some add features, such as decky recorder which only causes a slight prefomance hit (you really should look at them to see)
Other things that I would recommend that aren't Technically plugins are Cryo Utils (which does have a prefomance boost as explained in The Devs official video here )
And Emudeck for well... Easy emulation, there are a lot of videos for all of these things online if you need tutorials
Edit: just occurred to me that you might have been asking about the plugin I use to cap charging, for that I use Power tools, unfortunately it only works while the device is awake though
