KDE Connect, and if needed, ntfy.sh.

Can vouch for KDE Connect—especially powerful on android.

Ntfy.sh is my go to and croc if I want encryption.

Last time I tried to host Ntfy it was serving up its GUI to unauthenticated visitors. I couldn't figure out how to prevent that. Is that still going on?

Yes but you can disable the webui with a env variable for docker and dont allow any channel without password, this is the most strict way with ntfy.sh

Yep. Just started self-hosting Ntfy a month ago and it’s still the case
