If you're on Android (and you should be) make sure to use nextdns. Check out their website. It's completely free and you can pick from a variety of robust filter lists that covers your ENTIRE phone(even in apps). There are even more privacy features plus it's completely free. They have a paid option but I've never seen a reason to use. I'm on my phone all day and never even come close to reaching the API limit.

I got adguard lifetime YEARS ago when it was super cheap. I'm glad there's free alternatives now.

Adguard is free if you're just using their DNS lookup. No need for the app.
