Time will tell how this plays out, but overall I think this is a good thing. IMHO NZ needs to diversify its export portfolio, so to speak, and be less reliant on a single large market (i.e. China). This should lead to more economic resilience, which can only be a good thing in this fairly volatile time.
I wish it didn't modify our copyright term. +50 to +70 years is a real shame. :(
