8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

It's not like Schumer and Biden don't get that, they just use Judaism as an excuse to support a genocidal maniac.
I mean, the goal is geopolitics, not genocide. You're still right, but Biden and Schumer don't genuinely care about Palestine. They genuinely care about Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc, etc, and Israel's status as an ally in the region.
How is Israel an ally?
They're a lightning rod.
The entire reason Israel exists is to be a lightning rod. The issue is they went from an easy nearby target for far right religious ethnostates, to becomin the far right religious ethnostate who is recklessly starting wars and genocides.
If all that matters is middle east geopolitics, then Israel is a liability because they keep attacking neighbors and committing genocides.
This isn't new, we funded fucking Osama Bin Laden too.
Imagine if GW insisted that because Bin Laden was once our ally, he always has to be.

That's unfortunate. FWIW I don't disagree with you, full plaintext links should be posted anywhere. It's not like there are any psychopaths out there typing links manually instead of copy/pasting.

Markdown is an accepted and implemented form of posting content on lemmy. That’s why I can do this or do this or do this but you don’t see the html. The platform shouldn’t cater to you because your app is incapable of showing you the links people post in markdown format, find a better app, or petition your app developer to handle links better

Ok so file an issue with lemmy, https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues, stop blaming software because you are mad that html has a feature to put links on text and it disrupts your workflow to see what those links are
