Same. Good thing is you can cook pumpkin with the skin on.

So I can fish the skin out or it comes off easily when cooked?

because if that is true I am never peeling another pumpkin again.

I probably wouldn't stew pumpkin with skin on, but roasted I always leave skin on for eating
