Many are turning to Lemmy as a viable Reddit alternative. Here is how to use your existing Mastodon account with Lemmy.

Thanks. I'm trying it out. ^^

@n3cr0 it works... well done! πŸ₯³

Unfortunately, I cannot find a way to follow you via Lemmy. I only found your follow link for Mastodon instances. I can view your posts on Lemmy when clicking on your name. I can also send you a PM or I can block you, but I cannot see or subscribe to your Mastodon contents from Lemmy.

@n3cr0 Here is my mastodon profile on your lemmy instance:

You should be able to follow it, message it, etc. (although no guarantees as to quality content πŸ˜‰ )

Unfortunately, options are more limited here.

@stopthatgirl7 @n3cr0 I quite like kbin -- it is sort of the "swiss army knife" of the fediverse...

That’s actually why I went for kbin instead of Lemmy - it seems like it federates much better with everything else and is able to more seamlessly pull in more from all around the fediverse.
