Would this cause a good Aurora? Wish I was in Tasmania, would brave the cold to go see it!

Yesssss. Visible as far north as Sydney they say. Round about midnight tonight and tomorrow night will be at its most intense. Could well be visible on the beach or suchlike here in Melbourne. Might pop on over to the hill behind Northcote Plaza to see if it's visible from there.

@Thornburywitch @SituationCake Now I'm extra glad I got the laundry done early, haha

Jeez.

Might be going back to tin cans and string.

This lacks useful information, should I turn everything off? Or just avoid being in a helicopter? Beware of triffids?

[โ€“] Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

The triffids could be a problem. Would you like some of mine? I have a superfluity at present.

[โ€“] Catfish@aussie.zone 2 points 5 months ago (1 children)

As do I. But they should be manageable if I retain my sight.

Don't look at the sky and thereafter when the triffids have taken over wear goggles and a face shield. Invest in a flame thrower or two.
