I'm not sure if the part about judges being witches and wizards casting incantations was metaphorical or if this person actually meant it literally.

To be fair, having watched a lot of Legal Eagle on Youtube. I'm not convinced they aren't witches and wizards performing some archaic ritual.

That comparison gets even more real in the UK...where they all still wear white powdered wigs and robes...add in speaking in Latin legal terms, and it's definitely some sort of ritual lmao

I've said this a few times, but these people absolutely 100% believe language is magic and laws are spells.
