Got a real horrible suspicion Israel has just fired off a shot in the next middle eastern conflict. No evidence, completely wild speculation on my behalf. But after the whole Stuxnet business you'd be crazy to underestimate 'em.

Edit: really hope I'm wrong here! just want to say it so that if it turns out this way I can point back to it and go "See! i told you I wasn't crazy!"

That's my theory as well. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time they've fucked with Iran. Also I'm sure the US is well aware of what's going on.

Anything’s possible I guess. But I saw some footage on tv and it’s pea soup fog density in the area. Plausible they just got too close to the ground. But also you’d think that pilots in that region should be experienced flying in foggy mountainous area. From what I understand of the politics his death likely won’t cause any significant changes. But could be revenge or a warning shot. Could be genuine accident. We’ll never know.

I mean, again I'm basing this off stuxnet but: it doesn't seem their approach. Or at least it wasn't pre-october 23. They're subtle. Sneaky. Manipulative. if that sounds like a criticism it shouldn't. It should sound almost envious.
