There's a lot of good information out there that would be lost otherwise.

I don't want to give Reddit traffic anyways, so maybe it's good to only look at the archived versions going forward.

wayback machine only archives new Reddit though, which means a comment depth of about 2

I think it also archives old.reddit.com, works for me at least

i personally haven't had much luck with old.reddit, nm.reddit, or i.reddit. it's unfortunate that wayback sees them as different sites

i wish there was some static archive of all text on reddit pre 11/06/2023

Yeah, I think that's the only way. It's quite saddening though.
