I get that feeling too. It would be possible to turn that regular barcode into a QR code and associate it with a Big W account.

You don't get into debt with laybuy, you don't get an item you're then obligated to pay off, and you not get as aggressive fees for cancelling a laybuy

Yeah, completely agree. I see the appeal of BNPL, but laybuys are so much better if you don't need things right now. And since it's not a debt, it's one less bill you have to pay
