If you enjoyed the movie, I suggest looking into the book series. It's pretty good.
Dude I love the book series way different then the movie. Also you should check out the Zoey Ashe series while your at that.
You think I didn't read a book titled Zoey is too Drunk for this Dystopia? Just look at my name! In all seriousness, I really enjoyed the first two but haven't read the latest one yet. I need to be in the right place mentally to read those for the first time.
I'm so ready for I'm Starting to Worry About This Black Box of Doom. It looks like a lot of fun.
Anyone stopping by this thread, go check out his work.
I'm still working my way through "If This Book Exists You Are In The Wrong Universe". Can not wAIT for I'm Starting To Worry About This Black Box Of Doom!
Jason Pargin's work is sooooo good.
So funny how he is a big tiktok star now
I just read that book last week it was excellent. And yes I am excited about that new book already have it pre ordered. I love his writing going all the way back to his days at Cracked.
Is it possible that I read this before it became a book. It was published on some site chapter by chapter?
Yes. That's how I read it.
iirc he might have put it out on cracked.com before he dropped it into a book, but that was before I had gotten into it.
It was published several times before he got his job at cracked.com. First it was a collection of stories he wrote for Halloween over several years on his blog pointlesswasteoftime.com, then he self-published, then it was published by Permuted Press (a small horror publisher), and finally Thomas Dunne.
That explains the episodic nature of it, thanks for that!!
