I'm not religious BTW.
So itβs by Christians, who the fuck are they to decide who someone elseβs king is.
Might want to look into how Christianity came to be. It wasn't a separate religion early on
He's not. He's a Roman, his father's a centurion in the Jerusalem garrison, and his name is Naughtius Maximus.
He ain't our king. Homeboy did not meet all of the criteria for him to be the Jewish Messiah, his followers conveniently ignored that.

Disclaimer: I am absolutely not any sort of religious expert.
So that's from the new testament which is all Christian stuff.
He was not considered the king of Jews by the Jews though (except mockingly). I should think they would have a say in the matter.
