Getting the cat into the carrier was a task. Helped when I threw a towel on him and bundled him into it.

But the yowling on the tram had me cackling; had to get right up close and go "pss it's me I'm here" for him to stop. I think he was upset because my partner was holding him, and then left to the train when I got on the tram.

Now we're chilling in the waiting room. I expect Mickey will beat me up somewhat when we get home lol

Getting them into the carrier is the most stressful part of a vet trip. That and the bill.

All done and home now, he's fine. Bit my leg, par for the course.

Bill wasn't bad, $90 for his vax and another set in a month, as I realised I never got him vaxxed last year ๐Ÿ‘€

In my defense, he's indoors only, and has only been unwell once when he was a kitten lol

There have been vaccination shortages anyway, so you might not have been able to get it done. Miss Meow was due for hers 6 months ago but the vet didn't have any available so it got put off.

Ahhh this make me feel like less of a pet-parent failure lol. Thank you heh!

Hopefully your Miss can get hers soon!!

Is there anything that's not in fucking shortage at the moment? Seriously

Mine all had boosters in December. One of them then shared cat flu with the other two in May. Even the dog got it. In fairness, it was mild in the dog and the two she gave it to, but she was quite unwell herself. Don't sneak out the door and get picked up by the ranger, kids.

Lol, wouldn't be the first time I heard yowling on the tram

I actually thought there was a child behind me, until I realised it was Mickey ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I couldn't stop giggling. He sounded like a whingey baby hahahahaha

The vet requires me to drug my cat the night before I bring her in.

She's so funny when she's a little doped out lol
