But I imagine I can be fairly easily woken up if somebody is beating down my door

Don't know how they'd get in. You could probably pick the lock, but I don't think he knows how to do that. Can't shimmy the lock because it's a deadbolt. Can't get through the window because it's locked (it's one of those old school locks you have to turn to lock/unlock), can't unlock it from outside. As far as I can tell that just leaves the option of breaking the window, or applying enough force to the door that the hinges or door frame break off. Both of those things make noise
