I really don't approve of violence for political purposes, but I can't help but feel that the mongrel thoroughly deserves this or something like it. It's a pity the shot went wild. Apparently the shooter is dead according to the abc.

The real downside is that he's going to make political hay out of this - it's a real gimme for motivating his voter base. Maybe even to saint and martyr status.

Yeah but there would be no one equivalent to replace him, so the traditionalist republicans might have a chance at regaining the party back from MAGAs.

Depending on how this plays out this could also stir up the public over there in not so good ways.

Trump’s going to ride this out and take it to his advantage sadly, I just hope he doesn’t kick the hornet’s nest with his supporters.

Unfortunately his son already declared that it was the extreme left that did it so it’s already political sadly.

Shame they missed even if I don’t condone it.
