• I wasn't even able to put the printer together without reading the comments pointing to waaay too many flaws in the instructions.
• Well, I learned that with the smooth plate the hard way too.
• Don't get me started on that one. The nut in the ajustmend-thingy broke loose on mine, after I had to tentioned the belts way too often, cause the Axis bent. I had to saw the screw of at the front to get it out. Whole process took me about a month.
• I put the spacer hooks of the heatbed on the wrong way, and changing them when the printer is essembled. Well, a friend who repairs washing mashines for a living helped me out.
• The ghost clog is interesting too. I'm on my third nozzle now, trying to clean number two and three. Seems like a clog on the seperation of filament in front of the vulcano-split (high flow) and by the love of god I can't seem to het them unclogged. I soked them in cemecals to break the plastic-chains. The design is so annoying to get to in any way, cause at least as a amateur, you only realize the clog when its too late. (and I know that that might break some cotings of the hardened steel nozzle, but a this point, I tried anything else) So yea, I hope you're printing adventure is smoother than mine.

I support your decision not to drive, and I can relate to your situation, I had a simular experience back when I was fresh out of driving school. I would advise you to at least drive a bit, with someone who has experience in driving and who you trust. Roads that you know, that you feel comfortable. I'm a bit worried that you otherwise develop a more deep fear of driving all together. And depending on the region you're living in, you might be required to drove, to get a loved one to a doktor, for example. And you don't need to drive all the time, or never, you can also decide just to switch sometimes, depending on how you feel. The first time after an accident is defenetly the hardest. But I'm happy that I did it at some point. Even tho I mostly use public transport today. Just cause I knew, if I would need o drive at one point, I could.

I've got a Fairphone 4. Had quite the headache, cause I had a slightly broken one. I don't want to go into detail, but I can say the support on Fairphones side is excelent, they were super friendly and helped to fix the issues as best as they could. And the nice thing is that you can repair most things yourself. But it is still a "nerdy" product. Fairphone doesn't have the best flagship with the fastes processor. But if you value something, where you own your hardware, and can repair stuff easily, you should consider it.

And I love watershoes, you can use to swim, if you can afford them, it saves you from cutting your feet on sharp objects you perhaps oversee
