There are local elections in Germany and loud threats could cower some Germans back into line of pro-Russia parties. This is useless noise.

If you're a German citizen living in Finland, absolutely!

Who knows how fast there'll be an AfD government in Germany and you certainly wouldn't want to be kicked out of Finland / lose your EU freedom of movement just because they think its a great idea to leave the EU.

Mind you: all this in a country that is remarkably blessed with loads of natural resources that could be turned into economic wealth for the whole population. All this is the fever dream of power of an elderly man who thinks Russia is still not enough - and who'll destroy Russia in this attempt, achieving the opposite he envisioned. Yet another chapter in the vast tragedy that is Rulers of Russia.

Of the global superpowers, only China has staunchly avoided war, and over the last decade, they’ve built a massive high speed rail system, and eliminated most poverty in their country.

…and vastly expanded their military for the last two decades in a speed you’d normally only see countries doing in wartime. So let’s wait and see how long this ‘staunch avoidance of war’ will actually hold up once they’ve achieved the military strength they apparently desire.

The war can end in the next hour if Russia decides to piss off behind their internationally recognised borders, still leaving them with more land than they'll ever need.

Those unfortunate accidents can easily be resolved:

just make the Mexicans wear something that makes them easily recognisable. Something like, I don't know, maybe a small patch in the shape of a sombrero, oh and and make it yellow so it stands out.. hm, that idea kinda feels familiar.... /s

Not with their clothes, though. The political debate in the Bundestag is conducted through words and to be fair, that seems like a reasonable idea.
