The German foreign ministry has released a statement in German regarding Israels attack on Qatars capital Doha earlier today

https://www.auswaertiges-amt.de/de/newsroom/2734254-2734254

English translation:

Israel's attack in Doha not only violates Qatar's territorial sovereignty, but also jeopardizes all of our efforts to secure the release of the hostages. This strike is unacceptable.

I am extremely concerned about the lives and safety of the hostages in the hands of Hamas, including German citizens. I expressed this to my Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa'ar in a telephone conversation.

Qatar is playing a crucial role in the efforts to achieve a ceasefire and secure the release of the hostages.

I have expressed my solidarity, gratitude, and appreciation for these efforts to my Qatari colleague Sheikh Mohammed.

I urgently call for everything possible to be done now to finally bring about a ceasefire and allow the hostages to return to their families.

It remains clear that it is up to Hamas to lay down its arms and renounce terror against the State of Israel. Also the current escalation is a result of Hamas’s abhorrent terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

Local news report translated with deepl:

There has been further unrest at and around the Elbit branch in Ulm: According to the police, several individuals broke into the building in the Böfingen district early on Monday morning. At around 3:30 a.m., security personnel reported several individuals on Eberhard-Finckh-Straße in Ulm.
They threw paint bombs at the entrance area and set off smoke bombs. In addition, the suspects sprayed graffiti with “presumed political content” on the parking lot, according to a press release from the Ulm police and the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office. Some of the activists are even said to have broken into the building. To do so, they smashed several windows on the building.
The police did not officially confirm either the name of the company or the fact that the troublemakers were activists. However, several sources at our editorial office confirm this. The police first surrounded the company building and were able to arrest several people on an upper floor without resistance shortly thereafter. The State Security and Anti-Terrorism Center of the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office has taken over further investigations. Protests against the company repeatedly take place in front of its building and in Ulm city center. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators accuse the company of deliberately producing “lethal drones” for use in the Gaza Strip. Criticism of the state of Israel also regularly features in these demonstrations. In the past, demonstrators have often called on the Ulm city administration to close the Elbit branch in Ulm. However, according to its own statements, Elbit in Ulm primarily manufactures modern radio communication systems, night vision devices, drones, and cyber and command systems—including for the German Armed Forces.

This also goes to an entire new level. Before it was "only" censoring digital products and events. Now it is directly censoring media outlets.

This screams for an antitrust lawsuit, if a company has this kind of power.

There was two times, he used proper curses:

In book 5 he tries to use Crucio to torture Beatrix Lestrange, but she shows him and tortures him instead, as a little boy doesnt know how to torture.
In book 6 he used Sectumsempra on Malfoy without knowing what it is and seemingly completely oblivious to the fact that most spells are just latin word. Subsequently Malfoy almost dies of bloodloss, everyone is chocked how Harry is using dark arts all of a sudden, but Dumbledore bails him out as always.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told CNN in a statement: “This alleged assessment is flat-out wrong and was classified as ‘top secret’ but was still leaked to CNN by an anonymous, low-level loser in the intelligence community. The leaking of this alleged assessment is a clear attempt to demean President Trump, and discredit the brave fighter pilots who conducted a perfectly executed mission to obliterate Iran’s nuclear program. Everyone knows what happens when you drop fourteen 30,000 pound bombs perfectly on their targets: total obliteration.”

Everything else aside. I can't get over the fact that the White House is now communicating like a teenager getting high with his friends.

This will probably be the calmest year of the years to come.

Russia, the US and EU are failing slowly, with Russia and the US kicking around in the process. The EU doesn't really know what to do except follow suit to the US, no matter the stupidity.

Aside from these three China seems to be emerging for now, but is running into huge demographic issues that the others already have.

Neoliberal Capitalism is destroying the very foundations of society and leading to a new rise of Fascism as it is ideologically way too deeply entrenched to overcome itself and the mantra of eternal growth and eternal capital accumulation at the top.

On top of all this the climate catastrophe is picking up intensity every year and the effects will cause more and more disruption.

Meanwhile any attempts at spearheading a better world, one of sustainable economies and basic human rights are disrupted by the forces of old, who employ ever more gruesome weapons and tools of mass surveillance while refusing any social innovation.

To answer your question: Yes it is overwhelming and it will probably get a lot worse.

Yeah, this is crucial here. We also had large protests in Germany last year. Once, maybe twice. Then everyone went home and let the fascists continue to take more influence and the supposed center followed suit and now the country has shifted significantly to the far right and the minister of interior is in open defiance of the courts to abuse refugee seekers.

You have to protest every week and if your demands are not met you have to escalate protests. That includes things like striking, blocking the police/ICE thugs from carrying out their oppressive missions but will also need you to fight back, if you are attacked.

Not keeping up the pressure now would be a great blunder, unfortunately one that many "liberals" or "social democrats" love to fall into.

It is nice seeing a headline using words like "obliterated" and it being an accurate description of what the article reports in the body.

And this is why Ireland, France and others weakening the EU response to US tariffs for alcoholic beverages is dangerous. This is only encouraging him and he will use any sign of weakness to bolster himself.

I hope more hardware manufactures offer to ship without a windows license. It is cheaper for everyone and people have less hassle installing an OS of their choice on the device.

Fascist leaders need a constant threat to justify their leadership. If Israel cannot continue to escalate and create the image of being at threat, it also will cast doubt on the support they received and receive and it will make people speak up more about their crimes.

To appear as the perpetual victim, you need perpetual violence, so you need to perpetually attack other people.

Also Israel has the vision of a "Greater Israel" empire spanning from Egypt to Saudia Arabia to Turkiye and Iraq. Not only will this require the ethnic cleansing and genocide of hundreds od millions of people in the region, but also it will need to be filled with more non-Jewish white settlers, for instance US Evangelicals, as Israel doesn't have nearly enough population to maintain such an empire.

If you are an anti-zionist Jew in Germany you'll face a brunt of repressions. German "anti antisemitism" comissioners even go as far as calling anti-zionist Jews "allegedly jewish", thereby deciding who are "good" and "bad" Jews.

This has to be the most bizzare proxy war, i have ever heard about.

Two countries with a shared culltural history to go to join a war on the other side of the world, as not to fight in their demilitarized border zone. But unlike in "normal" proxy wars, they both send soldiers.

"Lebanon is Hezbollah". The newest hit single by the IDF known for songs like "UN is Hamas" and "elementary school girl is Hamas"
