I have the impression that since HIV was controllable, people just stopped using condoms. There are other reasons to wear a condom other than HIV that may bring life long issues.
This may also be a generational thing. In the early 2000s there was a lot of emphasis on using condoms. I don't think the kids in the 2010s and now 2020s are getting the same level of indoctrination.
I use it frequently and the search is flawed. I literally introduced the name of a bank letter by letter and it would not show any of the 10 bank agencies of that bank that were nearby. Instead of the bank it showed me a water deposit kilometers away. If I partially deleted words, it would show me all the bank instances in the whole country ranked by distance (the correct output).
I do not agree about the UX, it is good.
