Most recent active mod last online 1 year ago, Id like to request to take over or be added to mod team (even though I just got the onguardforthee community transferred to me and I am less experienced, I dont want to be a monopolizer or anything I just am local and saw the mods are inactive and wanted to see if I can bring some activity back)

Tbh if someone else has taken over that is way more optimal because this would be my first time but I miss that sub and im sad to see it closed here

Ideally if it were opened to me I would just immediately recruit a couple more people just to get it going but we need our canadian shitposting and memeing in canada back again :(

The two current mods' last logins were 2 years ago and 3 weeks ago. I want to help remove spam from this community, like the post I reported earlier today. I've several new posts in the community that can be used to action this request. Thanks

I have been actively developing !trippinthroughtime@lemmy.ca for a month now by regular posts. However I noticed the only mod @Wololo@lemmy.ca has not been active for 2 years.

So I would ask to do a wololo (AoE 2 pun!) and become mod of that community. I'm also fine with someone else from lemmy.ca doing that job, just want to know it safe.

Timezone wise I am active from central Europe btw.

The sole moderator has not commented or posted for 1 year. I am requesting to become a mod to help mitigate any trolling and help foster a community.

I don't think u/Kokomheart is active, and so I was hoping to take over as a mod. There are a lot of users on lemmy.ca, but the communities themselves aren't well advertised. I thought I could help get that going.
