I couldn't fully understand whether or not their children's Hukou will now be in the location of their marriage registration. But it's a good step forward and they saw a brief spike in marriage registration overall.

To add on, yes there is homophobia, but not the religious "they're going to hell" type. Purely from a reproductive/family lineage stand point. People don't care as much societally, unless it's their own children, because that'll end their own family lineage (but science babies is possible).
