I'd second this. Victoria metrics and Victoria logs is orders of magnitude better than Prometheus and Loki. However, I'd switch fluent for Vector for logs collection.
I'm using Anycubic Kobra S1. By default its probably not the most open printer but you can install Rinkhalis to make it work with Orca slicer.
Its been in LAN mode since day one, haven't seen any outbound requests from it.
I wouldn't say the privacy issues are moot when running public services, as metadata is quite valuable. Cloudflare will get a lot of information like who your visitors are, how often they visit, how long are they staying on a page yada yada
Migrated from NC to FileBrowser Quantum and its super light weight. https://github.com/gtsteffaniak/filebrowser
Nice work! This was the reason I moved my homelab stack to k8s with Cilium.
Why not do something that'd solve this once and for all like:
- Forcing the companies to have open source software for transmission unit so it can be vetted what they are transmitting
- Mandatory requirement to make the network connectivity optional, if someone wants they should be able to just pull the transmission module out. Not everyone wants/likes constant surveillance.
And this should be for all vehicles irrespective of country of origin or make
https://www.usememos.com/ is another option that's super light weight and self hostable.
The function of the encoder is custom code, you need to Edit the encoder.c file to tweak it.
yeap, found it but the issue is that when encoder is rotated, it switches back to default layer. So, the code to use different things in different layers doesnt work. This is the code I have:
void turned(bool clockwise) {
if (IS_LAYER_ON(0)) {
tap_code16(clockwise ? LCTL(KC_PGDN) : LCTL(KC_PGUP));
}
else if (IS_LAYER_ON(1)) {
tap_code(clockwise ? KC_VOLU : KC_VOLD);
}
else if (IS_LAYER_ON(2)) {
tap_code16(clockwise ? LALT(KC_TAB) : LALT(LSFT(KC_TAB)));
}
else if (IS_LAYER_ON(5)) {
tap_code(clockwise ? KC_MS_WH_DOWN : KC_MS_WH_UP);
}
// else {
// tap_code16(clockwise ? LGUI(KC_Y) : LGUI(KC_Z));
// }
}
P.s. You know you can tweak the led? Turn it off/change color and brightness, all using the qmk rgb keys. (Just wondered if the thing on top is to dim the light:)
Haha...yeap thats exactly what it was for, #define RGBLIGHT_LIMIT_VAL 2 helped me solve it.
We were talking about it for a bit but didn't want to spend all the time figuring out things. So when we came across Cheapino, my friend was like fuck it let's do this and it happened.
Curious, how well rollers work in that location? Are you using index finger or thumbs for those?
Baseboard heating is 100% efficient but heat pumps can be up to 400% efficient. Depending on model and outside temperature. This is because hear pump is not generating heat its just moving it from one place to another. In AC mode from inside to outside of house and in heating mode from outside to inside.
