Once again the democratic establishment stabs progressives in the back, can we stop being delusional about them now?
This isnt Democrats or Republicans we have e yo watch ou for. Its people defending capital from labor. Dems are not a labor party, they are a neoliberal party.
Yes!
I was told that democrats had changed.
Democrats used to be a fractured coalition of competing activist groups - labor, feminism, black civil rights, environmental, academic, professional. Now you have a uniform block of McKinsey consultants trying to rein in an increasingly insurgent liberal voter base.
Janet Mills is currently 77 years old. Graham Planter is 41 years old.
Barely out of diapers at 41. He needs another 30 or 40 years to mature into a real politician.
Once he's back IN diapers he can be elected.
Also senate committees are given out based on seniority (as in how many years being a senator) Planter has a much higher likelihood of getting a future committee seat in the future than Mills does.
The Democratic Party leadership hates you as much as the average Republican
Has Planter’s campaign been denied, or even tried for form a joint fundraising committee like this?
As I understand it, it basically just allows donors to give to both the campaign and DSCC at the same time. If that’s accurate, I’d hesitate to describe it as influencing or endorsing? If that’s not the case, what is a joint fundraising committee?
