Kitty!
I know that's not really scat, but I have fun with it.
There's also a song called 'Taxi to Bombay' that became, and please don't, 'Text Me Your Butthole.'
I have a funk playlist that I listen to and scat to, and your username will be added to the scatting repertoire.
badaddabutada Ooh Yiddish McSquidish
badaddabutada They're not at all skittish

I have the ad tier and some of their AI ads crash my Roku. It's almost amusing that it's only AI ads that seem to do that.
Don't judge my musical taste.
Eric Carmen's 'Make Me Lose Control' was on the radio a lot and it resonated with me.
I ended up calling the radio station to find out what song it was, and then learned that my mom had bought that tape on accident because she thought it was Eric Clapton.
Months later, on a camping trip with grueling hikes (to chubby young me, not that I am less chubby), I was singing variations on those lyrics as motivation to keep moving. Dunno what my Dad thought of this.
On this trip, my grandpa and step-grandma hiked in to say hello and have dinner with us, only to have my 14 year old sister (on her period) lean out of her tent to vomit on their feet.
Good times.
I already blocked one spammer on this exact spam. Fuck off.
I know it isn't true based on 'James Acaster complaining.' He does that for comic bits all the damn time. Of course he would tell the story, even if it's a lie, because it's objectively hilarious.
They're so terrified because it could've been a gun.
But it wasn't, dude just wanted some food and drink he missed and can't have.
Total cop mentality.
"He's got nuggets!"
Would've been shot if he wasn't already behind bars.
The gish gallop has gone mainstream.
What we needed, twenty to forty years ago at the bare minimum, were journalists who were willing to shut that shit down.
I remember being a child watching the news with my parents and seeing an oil company defender accusing the scientists of chasing profits.
Like what the fuck? How did that not end immediately with "And who is currently profiting?" is and always has been beyond me.
...I'm not sure that's a great example of the gish gallop. Technically.
My point was that we now report the untrue claims rather than saying, from the start, "This candidate said something completely false and not worth repeating."
For clicks, views, the algorithm, for profit. Nope. It was all to game the system in order to destroy it.
Sorry, this probably isn't coherent but I'm tired and tipsy, and I've chosen to hit save.
All so that none of their tenants can afford any of those four things without constantly struggling!
Until there are some kind of real penalties for submitting unconstitutional legislation, we will not be able to stop these clowns from abusing our state legislatures.

And in Cheech and Chong's 'Up In Smoke', which always amused me.
