Taking para social relationships with people we have never met to a whole 'nother level.
So then they should be forced to pull the game from Steam. Don't sell your shit to a platform promoting Linux if you're going to exclude it's player base (any of itplayer base).
That and they should be forced to give refunds (not Valve, Ubisoft).
This ignores a lot about how automakers were skirting these restrictions in order to sell us larger vehicles and why there are so few sedans and compact cars being sold here these days.
The rollback isn't the answer because obviously we should be limiting the size of vehicles and closing the loopholes that allow skirting of the law/regulations, but fuel efficiency is forcing smaller cars out and people here are not buying smaller EV's because of range anxiety.
The Lincoln was my first ship and my first depl. I road that ship into dry dock in 2012. That ship was freshly retrofitted by November of 2014. I believe before that it went into dry dock in like 2005 and left dry dock in 2006.
It's wild to me to hear (given the fact that just before it went into dry dock in 2012 it was one of the better maintained ships I have been on) that things have deteriorated to this degree. Covering it up and expecting that the news won't get out with 5000+ angry and depressed service members living in those conditions is a pipe dream. Hegseth should be more than ashamed and any real Commander in Chief would have fired him and prosecuted him for this crap.
You can just remove the wifi module. Lay the TV on its face on a piece of cardboard on the bed. Remove the back, locate the wifi module, remove it, and Bob's your uncle or something.
Seriously, it can't access the internet if it doesn't have an access point.
As for the computer connected to your television and it's access point, it's simple not to connect a Windows computer to a TV. Most any windows compatible computer you'd do that with can run Linux and if windows is going to allow this kind of nonsense they don't deserve your business or your data.
I absolutely know my take is the view of someone who's tech savvy enough to do both things.
I get that for the last 30 or so years I have been the tech support for basically my entire family and some of their friends.
But if it's going to be basically impossible to buy a dumb TV and expensive as all get out to do it, it's time to find that tech savvy person you know and ask for help because otherwise this will keep happening.
A nut cracker and or crab leg cracker works too. The grooves are helpful.
They did it to themselves.
If the guy exposing the exploits is the be believed, they notified MS (or attempted to) and were ignored and then actively rebuffed. Then MS deleted the account (and the proof that this person actually reported these vulnerabilities/bugs).
Even if this person is lying I'm more likely to believe MS is the bad guy here. It seems like bullying to me. That and an attempt to mask the problems at the company because they have been getting a lot of bad press and are having trouble with the entirety of windows 11 which they forced on people and they keep breaking. The adoption rate of windows 11 being so bad also lends credence to what this person is claiming.
Just like always, when the media catches wind of something and starts asking questions, magically big corps like Google go back and have an actual human review and re-instate the account.
So, the EU banned these trucks because they present a danger to pedestrians, and someone modded one with rubberized bumpers to get it registered. That's it. That's the story.
Twitter is still influencing the rest of the web (look at its influence on reddit since Musk bought Twitter, and Spez started wanting to live in his skin). I don't think we can just take the good without the bad and assume a net positive.

This is demonstrably wrong. It doesn't have the ability to reason. Every kid is smarter than the extrapolation machine. Because the extrapolation machine doesn't have smarts.
Either he doesn't understand the product he's schilling or he does and he thinks we're idiots. I'll let y'all decide which.
