Have you ever perused a thread on a subject and had your mind changed without engaging? Maybe you had the wrong perspective and changed your mind or didn't know enough to have an opinion going in but came out with a more informed stance?
That's why I do it. And I've had that happen numerous times.
Not defending ICEs actions, but sometimes leaving the bullet in is best. You'll do more damage extracting it than it will do staying there. No idea if that's the case here, but there are times when leaving it in is appropriate.

That's a common tactic in scams. You want to weed out the actual intelligent people as early as possible lest they disrupt your scam. That's why scam emails tend to have misspellings and grammatical errors. Smarter people instantly ignore that. Dumb people click on through.
