You can instantly turn anything into a weapon and you can instantly drop the floor out from anyone and drop them from the highest point you can reach.

Yes. It's a weapon and a tool like an axe is a weapon and a tool

Then clearly architecture photography isn't your thing. I recommend you don't up vote it and move along with your day.

Lemmy is a funny place. Most of the time when there's a little-used social media site, people are grateful for those who actually post content (not bots just mirroring reddit posts).

But on Lemmy I get complaints that people don't like that I post once (edit: or twice) a day with relevant content.

Bad on me for actually posting content, huh?

It's not my fault the place is so dead that 2 post per day looks like I'm flooding it.

And the crossposts are the right way to do it so I'm not over burdening the individual-run servers.

Save you a click: not surprisingly, they plan to add a ton of AI features that no one asked for ("agentic OS") tired to the cloud, etc, to the point that it will require new AI-specific hardware to run.

ABC has been owned by Disney for decades. Are you confusing them with CBS who just went through a merger?

The MAGA nuts are Christian nationalist protestants. They think the Pope is the antichrist (literally many of them do).

They did it once, then did it again and not only is it still just a fine, the fine didn't even go up. Given inflation since then, the fine actually went down in real terms.

That'll teach them for sure! /s

I initially read that as "Florida scrambles to get retired teachers to return to combat."

Which isn't really wrong either.

I think that's the basic premise of the Star Trek hypospray. Pressure pushing in medicine rather than a needle.
