This for two of our cats, the third was a rescue from a couple who had to move and crappy landlord wouldn't allow pets.

".....becomes Netflix's longest-running scripted series."

Must have slipped through the cracks.

[-] shrewdcat@lemmy.zip 20 points 1 year ago

Excellent, this series was so well done, and so funny. Alexander Skarsgård's murderbot is so sarcastic and just wants to watch his soaps and not deal with people behaving like....people.

The home market is ripe for investor buying. The inventory is increasing because you have all the 2020/Covid over-paid homes now being dumped on the market (happening in Las Vegas, Arizona, and across the country) but the interest rates are too high for individuals to buy. Trump's economy will not see interest rates go down. The investor buyers have their shopping carts and are ready.

I miss Fry's. It was nice if you were building your own PC to go in and get parts immediately. Amazon with their unfair no-taxes that crippled big box stores and mom and pop's, and Netflix for videos by mail (remember getting DVD's in the mail?) and then streaming began wiping out most of these, except Friendly's.

That is SO disturbing and creepy.

Exactly. The downside of doing it this way, I don't believe any gnome/gtk apps will utilize the kde rounded corners from window decorations.

[-] shrewdcat@lemmy.zip 14 points 1 year ago

You can use plasma styles and window decorations that have built in rounded corners out of the box instead. You can usually find them in the macos-like themes and Deepin, I think. Also, I think Klassy has editing options in it's window decorations to engage rounded corners if memory serves me.

I get the convenience, I really do, and works on every linux distro which is a plus, but I usually stay clear of them because of the bloat. Maybe that is a misconception on my part. I should preference that with the fact I use Arch (btw)...so AUR usually has everything I need.
