Sure, but these same companies will drag you to court and rake you over the coals if you infringe on their copyrights.

Yeah... in the Pixar animation, it looks like the I gets flattened, rather than going inside the lamp. Homeboy there might be in trouble.

This is probably my most involved project so far. I liked the Nether Emperor ever since it was first announced, but the color scheme did not say "nether" to me, so I changed that. I learned a lot, especially in regards to shading. I applied some orange fluorescent paint as a wash to the inner frame to give it a molten look.

A reality show vault? Not even Vault-Tec had any experiments that were that cruel.

Nothing too fancy with this one, just panel lining, G-Rework decals, and matte topcoat.

Yeah, his more recent videos seem to be more about the spectacle, rather than the education or interesting subject matter.

This is a special edition of MG Freedom 2.0 with Cross Contrast and clear colors. It also came with unique water slide decals and a clear Action Base 1 instead of the crappy stand that other MG Seed kits get. I panel lined with silver enamel paint and sprayed matte topcoat to give the clear parts a frosty look.

Now that I'm done with model shows for a while, I've shifted gears and decided to work on some girlpla for a while. This one is mostly a straight build, with a bit of panel lining, some decals, and matte topcoat. Overall, it's a good build, and great value for what comes in the box, including 2 full models and lots of accessories, not to mention pre-painted and detailed pieces.

✨THE GUNDAM BASE CHICAGO IS COMING WINTER 2025 ✨

"THE GUNDAM BASE" launches its first permanent North American location at Fashion Outlets of Chicago!

Stay tuned for more information.

Great news for builders in the USA. This will be the first permanent Gundam Base stateside. Even if you don't live near Chicago, it's still closer than Japan.

I played with lighting a bit to see if I could get it to glow more.

How's it going? What are you building? What are your thoughts on it? Any issues? Any kits you have your eye on?

Inspired by the P-Bandai iron-blooded coating kits, I decided I could make my own and do it better. I used the ZeroPlan Wolf Claw kit as well.

There is one major catch: Zeus can only beat the RTX 5090 GPU in path tracing and FP64 compute workloads because it does not support traditional rendering techniques. This means it has little of no chance to become one of the best graphics cards.

Still nice to see some competition.

It doesn't matter how bad it was, it doesn't justify or excuse the shithead behavior a lot of players are directing at individuals who worked on the game. As I stated in another comment, there's a difference between saying "this game sucks" and personal attacks on individuals.

[-] wirelesswire@lemmy.zip 74 points 2 years ago

There's a difference between being unhappy about a game and making your voice heard to the studio/publisher responsible, and singling out individuals who worked on the game to harass. This happens a lot with voice actors being targeted because people don't like their performance, despite them just doing what the voice director told them to do.

There's also a difference between saying "I don't like ____" or "this game sucks" versus "I'm glad you got laid off, serves you right" or straight-up death threats. Just like the VAs, the development staff were working at the direction of the lead/director, who were possibly working at the direction of the publisher, so directing vitriol towards individuals is likely not productive, on top of being cruel. You are certainly allowed to make your opinion heard, but don't be an asshole about it.

As of 2021, Valve employees made roughly $430K-4.5M, depending on role. Not bad, considering the average salary in WA is around $58k.

Regardless of whether or not the tariff increases happen, Black Friday sales are going on right now, and depending on what stores are near you (namely Micro Center), you could find some good deals. Just make sure you check price history on anything you're looking at (if you're able) to ensure it's actually a deal.

Be direct. "It's been great, but I have other things to take care of (or get to bed if night). See you later!"

The smaller population overall isn't a bad thing, but it can really be felt in smaller or niche communities. Reddit's huge size is a plus in this regard, because chances you can find at least a semi-active community for just about any hobby or niche interest.
