overview for Fortatech

well, today i (partially) realized why my basic drivers don't work: the preinstalled packages amdgpu and amdgpu-dkms seem to not work due to amdgpu-dkms being unconfigured. tried configuring it and got the same error. around about there my system stopped using even the iGPU and i had to uninstall some other drivers (thanks @lena@gregtech.eu )

I live in Slovenia, so no. I saw that it was available in Austria, but they don't offer shipping to other countries, sadly.

(edit) Nevermind, they do ship to Slovenia, thanks. (Didn't look properly cuz they didn't have the 128GB version in stock)

So I was intending t buy myself a fairphone 4 for a long time now, but it got disontinued recently. I wouldn't buy the new fairphone 5 as it is a little bit expensive. Are there any good alternatives you guys recommend?

I would like to point out that not everyone is from the USA. I for one come from Slovenia, where we have quite a good school system and a literacy rate of about 99.6%, compared to the USA with99%(source). I have no idea where you got the statistics. Can you maybe provide a source?

I have an old hp pavilion dv6 and I installed windows 7. Then i tried installing Ubuntu 24.04 and the USB wouldn't boot, it just showed "GRUB" in the top left of the screen. I tried with another USB and the same issue emerged.
