Main takeaway: UDP is sexy, TCP not so much. Did I miss anything? 🤔
Flying insects. I scream. Period.
Also, I adore them and I am fascinated by them. Period.
I did know that AI data centers have driven up RAM prices. Didn't know that they have done the same to storage prices. :( F*ck AI.
Simply seeding doesn't feel enough anymore... I'd like to contribute by running a magnet link aggregator, a public or private tracker or whatever. Anybody got any tips on how to do it without revealing PII? Even if I were to set things up on a VPS instead of my own hardware, it still would require me to pay with payment methods that give away my name and banking info, right?
I really wish I could love the game, but the story kind of ruins the feel. The whole pretext is you wanting to become a legendary mercenary, but that whole journey is skipped with a montage of V and Jackie. It's not immersive to be running around in an open world game doing open world stuff (read: whatever the hell you want) when you know that your life is being threatened by a bio chip. You'd give dealing with the bio chip the highest priority. I wish there was a remake or prequel or whatever in which you have access to the whole map before the bio chip fucks you up.
Except for that one story/gameplay detail, I'm all for it. Modded the shit out of it during my last playthrough. 🥵🍈🍈
Such unconditional support, while truly wonderful on it's own, comes with the risk of limiting your perspectives and experiences on what the world and people are like.
With that said, I am 37 yrs young and I never once thought "I wanna be X/Y/Z" while growing up. I just studied what appealed to me (Japanese language) and took any and all jobs that I could find, completely unrelated to Japanese, since the language on it's own doesn't really open any venues. Now I'm a parole office wtf xD
My library card was free of charge. (:
