I will never judge someone for growing. We can still blame them for the current state of things but if we want to collectively get better we need more of them to finally see through the bullshit.

So much is probability and chaos. I often would think "there's a version of me that that went a lot worse for" and feel thankful.

Maybe they are, I haven't done a deep investigation, but to what end? What do they have to gain? Moreover, the content gets appreciated by users here who are ostensibly not bots.

I enjoyed some posts and would not know they were copied from reddit without you. It's not like they even originated from there. Plus as far as I know there's no direct linking. What's the harm?

You and both have invested a lot of time in this space over the last few years: fedi/threadiverse is still so small yet gaining new users all the time. Don't you think having more content uploaded here that people genuinely engage with is an overall good thing?

I get it, I gave up looking over there when they killed my apps. I'm happier (and less addicted) here than I was before. But still, I know there are probably some big things I miss out on by getting my fix from more obscure sides of the net. Someone willing to wade through and find gems in the mess is someone that's valuable to have here.
