Glad to see we're giving up the Latin/Greek naming scheme after a thousand or so years.
It's always "but it comes from the Latin and it means cute fury flying thing". Why not just name it Cute Bee Furry Face and be done with it?
Doesn't sound as cool imo.
Wouldn't have gotten badass names like velociraptor.
Speed Dragon sounds cool too though
I always wondered what names we would call dinosaurs by if we lived contemporaneously with them.
I wish I could make a living classifying eukaryotes.
