My father in law loves jigsaw puzzles. This one is his latest. I think it's borderline evil, and question whether it should be legal to sell in shops. He seemed to like it, though.

I once did this one. Forget how many pieces it was, but it was pretty evil.
I thought it was a tub of textas.
He might like many of the The Play Group puzzles, including this 1000 piece jigsaw in which the pieces change colour depending on the direction you view them. Aussie company too.
I think Iโd be justifiably murdered if I bought that. Boyo is colourblind in a way that causes disco strobing. That puzzle would be way beyond evil.
That's nasty
I've decided that all I'm going to eat today is cheese and crackers. I'm an adult, I'm allowed to do that.
Um if you live anywhere near a CBM it will be worth your while to venture out.
That's a goddamn sign from the gods if ever there was one
All I have to do tomorrow is clean the house and work on my resume. Easy peasy.
Goodnight everyone โค๏ธ
slept half sitting up in my oodie , I am so sick of this sore back ,
the thing is that by the end of the day I'm really sore, this makes it hard to sleep, sleep heals my back so this means I sleep best later in the night and morning
probably should go to bed a few hours earlier , eh
thank you for listening to my lame whine
Somebody has learnt how to open the cupboard and break into the UHT milk. We are doomed
Resting my feet at my accom in Tokyo after many hours of train rides. I'm not going to bother going out for dinner tonight, I have ekiben I haven't eaten yet. I really feel flat and exhausted. No sake tonight, just lots of sleep and tomorrow I shall be up and on my feet for some vigorous walking in the rain. Found a coffee place nearby that is actually open from 7:30 - a rarity in Japan where most cafes open from 10 or 11 (๐ข) - gonna head there and then just ramble around and explore. I realise I have some people I need to get gifts for or they'll be a bit annoyed, so time to start looking...
95% of my google feed is food, cleaning and workouts. The other 5%, I have no interest in but they're hoping I will.
Went to see some Valais sheep today. Those lambs are cute.
The boys knew exactly what to do as well. They went straight for the Lucerne and started putting it through the fence
Lamb tax?
Imagine posting about baby animals and not supplying imagery.
Here's the best I got of the sheep. I think my girlfriend will have more of them, I was focusing on the boys
So cute. The kids and the lambs in one shot would be too powerful anyway.
Got my flu vax yesterday, and have a sore arm as a result. Woke myself up several times already by rolling over onto it. Sleep is very light and tossing and turning anyway, which is probably why. So Iโve given up and am phone scrolling in the hope Iโll get sleepy even though I know thatโs the wrong solution. Havenโt had this with previous flu vax. Annoying.
Going to be a cold night tonight. Stay warm. ๐
I went for a walk when it was still morning. I think I've outdone myself today.
Time to get the laser out for Mickey and work off his winter blubber lol
So I have Night Eating Syndrome. This is because I'm calorie restricted during the day as part of my weight cut.
Now it's serious. I'll be adding extra food to dinner just to make sure this doesn't continue.
I think the trick is to eat later and go to bed earlier so you close that gap. Easier said than done.
I'm giving that a go tonight. Eat at 8:30ish and crash at 10pm. I have insomnia so I take a sleeping pill. Makes it easier to crash whenever I want.
I have to eat something when I take aspirin or nurofen, makes it a little harder to restrict food
Cripes, the prices on electric trikes.
Also where I live the bike infrastructure is 'there' and has a good reputation but was not actually that great in my personal experience. (Back when I was still strong enough to somewhat ride.) Bike lanes can have parked cars encroaching on them, obstructions like cracked asphalt or tree roots, or still force you to ride across an intersecting road. Some merge unexpectedly into a main road and there can be long stretches of pedaling uphill.
On the few rides I was able to manage before selling my (heavy, unpowered) trike on, I was literally riding on the road with the cars and having to chuck Ueys across lanes just to get to the local shop and back. That was before having a pet. I don't think I'd feel ok doing that with Melbcat on board.
And knowing my area the thing would probably get stolen, either from outside the vet/shop or out from under me.
It'd be great if there was more bike friendly infrastructure like in the Netherlands. Or some alternative to mobility scooters, which don't let you carry anything.
It's not cheap bit have a look at the Cube hybrid trike. It has cargo storage and a joint in the middle to be a bit more nimble. Otherwise there are a bunch of electric cargo trikes. If you're already paying a premium you might as well get some storage space
Went to Superpark yesterday morning with the family, got us all moving and had a ball! I consider myself to have a degree of work fitness, but still have a bit of a sore glute this morning! Loved it, the coffee was also acceptable but the food was pretty basic. Then we went to the biggest lolly shop in Australia (highpoint) and was underwhelmed to say the least. Very pricey, lots of shit American lollies and not much European. Would not recommend. Some cool animatronics. If you must go, do not under any circumstances purchase loose candy which is not prepackaged.
Smoke alarms at 5am is not my idea of a nice Sunday morning.
I watched a "horror" movie tonight with the housemate at the cinemas, tarot. It was an odd one. Mostly just cheap jumpscares mixed with a couple of funny scenes. The plot was okay, I guess, but nothing spectacular. The whole scare factor was basically just comprised of jumpscares and without much actual creep. I mean look at this shit. I stopped paying attention because I was trying to contain my laughter. So bad it's good kind of thing
The last horror film that got me was "Get out". Admittedly I'm black so maybe that had something to do with it.
Rich progressives terrify me.
do nightmares count as horror movies
i dreamt i was the prisoner of an evil dwarf and i couldn't get away, i think i called out in my sleep waking my self up
