Honestly, good. Israel's PM is not looking for the off ramp here, so the US should act in it's own interest (for once) when our ally wants to keep the military operation going.

But what would the US be able to use as an incentive during negotiations if they have no interest in making Israel stop this conflict?
Give us the hostages and...?
Give us the hostages or else...?
Don't we provide all the weapons? We could definitely stop doing that and at least force Israel to find another source for weaponry if they insist on continuing.
Whaaat? The US willing to stop supporting Israel? That is simply too big an ask.
Next you'll tell me that the capitalists will voluntarily surrender the means of production to the working class.
Buuut think of the money!!! /s
- ... we'll recognise Palestine as a state.
- ... we'll stop military aid to Israel.
- ... we'll install a new leader in Israel.
Loads of things to offer.
I don't know I'm not part of the negotiations team.
Fool me 14 times, shame on me, I guess?
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Fool me thrice, and you're officially that guy. You know the one. The kind of guy who shows up to a party. Everyone dlse brought home cooked dishes, many people brought wine and whiskey. But you show up with some sparkling bottled water, because you're looking to consume more than you paid. You're the guy who's looking to "beat the system". You're THAT guy.
Fool me repeatedly and obviously for close to a century over things everyone knows is just bullshit and about money? Welcome to international economic politics.
Seems reasonable to me. There’s no reason to believe Israel will give up its genocide just to save a few hundred lives.
It's clear that Israel is not looking to end their joyful murder of civilians, so the US should be taking its own steps to bring home its citizens.
Hamas claimed that one of the three hostages killed by israeli bombing during the recent massacare was American. Might want to consider to stop arms transfers and solve every single issue in one fell swoop.
