I was applying for disability but i am not qualified because even though i have worked multiple jobs in my life i never held any longer than 6 months besides one (8 months). i've been told i don't have enough work credits to qualify for disability. but.... my disability is the reason i can't work? how is that supposed to work?
i thought that me not having the ability to work is what would qualify me for disability.
i know the application process in the US is designed to be confusing and inconvenient and difficult but I literally cannot wrap my head around this or find a good explanation.
I'm going to get on SSI instead but I am pretty sure the payout is lower and I have multiple disabilities so like.. what the heck?
