If you're keeping them in long-term storage/display, get their batteries under 100% and well-above 0%. Also maybe remove the battery, if that's possible/easy?

I personally aim for like 50-70% on my old smartphones that I refuse to trash. (I swear one day I'll give one to my nephew as a """game handheld""" or something... probably.)

Probably a good idea to boot your whole collection up just to see if they all work, too, while checking their batteries.

It's just that there's all these collection posts of huge piles of handhelds and I keep picturing someone finding out a year later that half the batteries are swollen or completely dead, which can be a huge waste for the handhelds you can't replace the batteries on.

(Also I wasn't 100% sure what flair to use. Guide is probably good enough?)
