A document from the Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command (Comdabra) made available by the National Archives reveals that, in 2014, a Gol plane had to perform an “evasive maneuver” to avoid colliding with an unidentified flying object (UFO).
According to the incident record, the case occurred around 12:10 pm on January 24, 2014 in Ceará. The Gol aircraft was on flight 9109, which took off from Brasília and went to Fortaleza.
The document informs that a large, white object was seen at “supersonic” speed near the municipality of Quixadá (CE), around 170 kilometers from Fortaleza. According to reports, the object flew in
a “zigzag” from east to west and left no trace .
