This whole JWST discovery thing still is lacking any solid public information, but to be honest I've read muttering about this going back months on twitter. Like may things on this topic though there is next to no hard data. However, on Vetted Simon Holland mentioned something at this portion that caught my attention:

Specifically a billionaire was buying up all the satellite and telescope time available. This billionaire was later basically called out to be Bob Bigelow later in the episode (no shock). The thing is if this is true buying telescope time is somewhat public and maybe you can even find WHERE the telescope was pointing. Most of the organizations have public schedules.

Greenbank was specifically mentioned (among others), well here is the public schedule for Greenbank

Maybe someone can do some sleuthing and dig more into this? I would fully expect the names or organization to not be obvious though, just in my short research I haven't seen anything jump out. If it was found that Bigelow is buying a bunch of telescope time it would lend some validity to the claims being made.
