This is my first post on here, and the title tells it all, I have debloated my phone but I kinda wanna go the extra mile. And if there is no custom rom or way to install roms I might sell my Galaxy for something else (like a pixel 5 or something.) Or maybe a Thinkpad.

There is no custom rom for this and there won't be. It uses a MediaTek SOC. The bootloaders cannot be unlocked.

Have you checked with Lineage? That's the most likely source.

Samsung phones are complex - if it can be unlocked depends on the exact model number (not just A15, there are often separate versions of each model).

Generally, US versions aren't unlockable or flashable. Generally.

I gave up on Samsung several years ago because I got tired of fighting to do anything. Even the unlock and flash procedures were a pain.

And what phone you suggest?

  • Apple: No thanks. I want to sideload all my apps!
  • Pixel: Fuck google but W graphene
  • Chinese phone: No thanks

I can bite the bullet and get a Pixel phone. In that case I would say I am supporting the phone, not the other services.

Not the best solution but either that or some refurbished phones from ebay/Amazon and considering I've had bad experience with both, I think the source is the best option

I'll see what I can do.

Chinese phones that let you unlock the bootloader are actually a great deal
