Alpha veraion should be designated in the version number?

To me, 1.0.0 looks like the first major release, promising stability and performance. Maybe I'm naive

Version 1.0 would be full release. Version 0.1 or 0.0.1 would be apha numbering. You should probably re-do this meme....
