First reaction: "How is Uzumaki not n°1, it's literally the only anime of this season I've heard off, and the manga has been popular for years"

Second reaction : "What, re:zero is having a season 3 and no nobody told me ?"

(I'm not as much in sync with the anime community as I once was, tho it's probably mostly for the best)

First episode of Re:Zero Season 3 is a 90 minute long special. So, you know they are really putting in the effort to make it good.

I have always kind of ebbed and flowed with the anime/manga community depending on how busy I am with irl stuff (grad school was a black hole that sucked up all my time for example). However, since kind of stumbling into moderating the community, it has kept me more active.

They left Acro Trip in 17th somehow. I thought it had a pretty good debut.

AC giveth and AC taketh away. Negative Positive Angler is down at 16 when I thought it was a decent premiere.

It's not a complete roster of shows due to many series not having a first episode premiere yet, but the top place this week was incredibly hotly contested. I can't remember two shows ending up so close and yet so, so far above the rest of the season.
