Half rant half question, split up and having to sell. Have a house worth roughly 550k and fees (excluding artizo) are around 20-30k and most of those places have a marketing fee on top.

Am I just ignorant in believing their jobs are to market and sell a home? With trademe these days being where a good chunk of people go to look for houses I can't see the cost to value ratio being worth.

What are we actually paying for?
