My available reading time fell off a cliff earlier this year and I haven't had much of a chance to keep up with new work. What really stood out to you this year?

Books, novellas, short fiction - anything goes, I'd love to hear about your favorites

The Rampart Trilogy was great.

The new Peter F. Hamilton book Exodus was great, if you like a bit of the ol’ space opera.

Thanks! I really enjoyed his Commonwealth books so I'll give this one a look.

Ooh, I love Peter Hamilton, and I haven’t read his stuff in forever. Thanks!

James SA Corey’s “The Mercy of Gods” grabbed my attention more than any book I’ve read in a long time. I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

Oh wow, I'd completely forgotten that this was coming this year. I'll have a peek at our library and see if I can snag it sometime soon. Thanks!
