Guns are surprisingly easy to come by. For now.

It'll stay that way, as fascists love their guns too. There are too many guns for anybody to get rid of them. If you play your cards right, you can get them from broke fascists when the economy crashes. Bullets will be the hard part.

Fortunately, reusable 12 gauge shells can be filled with pretty much anything in a pinch.

Shotguns are also safer in urban areas thanks to lower penetration. Even 9mm can go through multiple walls and hit innocents. It's why gang shootings are so awful.

Very good point.

I have a 3d printer. That is a statement. That is all.

The gun isn't to fight the military. It's to protect against random acts of political violence.

[–] disguy_ovahea@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I would expect more political violence had Harris won. With Trump as the winner, wouldn’t violent hate crimes be the bigger concern?

Under the first Trump presidency, there was a substantial increase in politically motivated hate crime. So the answer to your question is both are true. If your existence isn't a political issue, then you should still get armed to defend the people around you.

[–] Arbiter@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

Which is something people must defend against.

An easy option for leaving the situation to be suffered by people that aren't oneself.

When the fascists come for me, a gun will look like a good alternative to a death camp.

I feel like it’s best I don’t click on that.

It's a stand up comedian. No graphic depictions of violence. No foul Language. No sex. Rated R so I don't get sued.

it's a 2 minute standup comedy sketch

Isn't that a bust of Lucius Verus instead? Head seems slimmer and hair curlier than I remember.

[–] PugJesus@lemmy.world 14 points 2 months ago

Verus for comparison.

It definitely looks like someone trying to make Marcus Aurelius rather than an original bust or proper reproduction.
