Now that it's on steam I grabbed it and I thinks it's great, the snowboarding and skiing isn't as nice as steeps but the bmx alone makes the game worth for me

Good game with a terrible new player experience (from the annoying characters to the unskippable cutscene where it just moves from icon to icon on a map for about 5 minutes). Also typical ubisoft microtransactions. Core gameplay is very fun though. I hope they'll support Steam Deck soon, apparently they're working on it.

I was an early buyer of the game when it just was on Ubisoft and love every second of it. Recently I’ve had problems with my PCs gpu and am unable to play it on that and ubisoft launcher doesn’t work well on my steam deck. So it’s sadly been awhile since playing it.

I got hooked on Steep and i think that they kept the feel of snowboarding pretty similar to that.

I've had a curious eye on the game for a while but the need for the Ubisoft launcher put me off. How is it on Steam? Steam Deck compatibility would be a big bonus for me too.

Unfortunately you still need Ubisoft connect to play but now that it's on steam its had a big player boost and the "mass race" mechanic is the most fun I've had in a while, and I believe they're working on steam deck compatibility as we speak
