Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

The first paragraph of Joe Manchin’s obituary should be that he single-handedly nearly doubled child poverty. And then the rest should just be the list of times he enriched himself and his family at the expense of humanity. The last paragraph should mention that he’s remembered by his even more soulless shitbag of a daughter, the pharmaceutical company CEO who jacked up the price of EpiPens.

Just an evil family.

His POS daughter, Heather Bresch, also received a fraudulent MBA in college. Some higher ups just made up grades for her after a reporter found out that she didn’t have enough hours to graduate. That was seven or eight years after she supposedly graduated.

Then he should have everyone's piss on his grave

Just let me know the date and time, I'll queue myself up...

His epitaph should be unreadable from erosion and being dissolved by everyone pissing on his headstone

[–] candybrie@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

He didn't single handedly do it, though. He needed the help of 50 other people.

I don't believe in the Christian Hell, but Joe does. I'd like to see him there. And his daughter as well, of course. There is much pride to find in being from WV, but stains like this family detract from it.

You think Joe Manchin beloved in a God?

If he does, it’s more likely because he sold his soul to the Devil

[–] Skoobie@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

He's a WV politician. I assure you, he KNOWS he's going to heaven. It's a mentality here.

[–] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Centrist Democrats support him because he does shit like this for them. There is no other reason and never has been.

[–] Rapidcreek@reddthat.com 2 points 1 year ago

He's not going to be re-elected so there's 5hat.

multiple paragraphs?

It's heartbreaking to know we waste so so much on NOT feeding and housing, at the very least, those who need it the most.

The fact that you need child tax credit to bring kids out of poverty speaks for itself... Wages are not enough for most families so we need plebs to subsididize other plebs while rent seekers keep all of the surplus value.

I ain't against child tax credit but the real issue is that wages are Shiite.
